#39 – Speakers Of The House

We had a great time hanging out with Speakers of the House — a band made up of members from two well-known local groups, The Almighty Senators and The Junkyard Saints. They started playing together a couple of years ago, mainly to have fun and play the kind of old-school funk, boogaloo, and Latin music they all love.

In this episode, we talk about how the band came together, what they’re into, and why they play the music they do. They also played a few songs for us live — it was a good time all around.
